Engineering Scholarships for 2022–2023 College Students 

Attending college next year? Consider applying for scholarships to ease the financial burden of college tuition. Even better, some scholarships have mentorship programs that can provide individuals with networking opportunities and more. When applying for college scholarships, keep in mind that each scholarship has its own qualifying criteria to address in your answers or materials. The list below concentrates on scholarships for those interested in engineering or STEM-related fields of studies. Name: Structural & Civil Engineering/Construction Mgt/Architecture Scholarship 

Deadline: March 18, 2022  

Details: Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist students majoring in architecture, structural or civil engineering, or construction management. The Student Scholarship program offers scholarships to support education and encourage the design and building of safer structures in our communities. Scholarship applicants must be enrolled as juniors or seniors in a full-time undergraduate course of study (at least 60 semester hours or equivalent) at an eligible four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.

Name: FOSSI Scholarship 

Deadline: February 15, 2022 

Details: Are you interested in becoming a Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) scholar in 2022? FOSSI is intended for high school students who have interest in pursuing a career in chemical manufacturing, engineering, environmental health and sustainability, or other related chemical-industry fields.

Name: Eleanor K. Buckley Memorial Scholarship 

Deadline: February 28, 2022 

Details: The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) was established in 1963 by NAWIC to assist in providing the construction industry with trained employees through higher education. To be eligible for the Eleanor K. Buckley Memorial Scholarship, applicants must currently be a first-, second-, or third-year student in a course of study at a college or university leading to a degree in construction, construction management, architecture, or civil, mechanical, electrical or structural engineering.

Name: LogicMonitor Women in STEM Scholarship 

Deadline: March 31, 2022 

Details: Currently, women compose less than 30% of the science and engineering workforce. LogicMonitor seeks to increase the percentage of women in the STEM workforce and is announcing a scholarship for women pursuing careers in STEM.

Name: Gladys Carol Scholarship 

Deadline: March 31, 2022 

Details: The Gladys Carol Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and current undergraduate-level students who are United States citizens or permanent residents. They must be accepted to or enrolled in a full-time STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) program at an accredited, nonprofit public or private four-year college or university in the United States for the following academic year. The scholarship can be renewed as long as eligibility requirements are met.

Name: Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship 

Deadline: April 1, 2022 

Details: Lockheed Martin launched the STEM Scholarship Program in 2018 as part of their investment in the next generation of STEM talent. The company is committed to providing access to pathways through education and into the STEM workforce for all students, particularly those from diverse backgrounds and communities historically underrepresented in STEM fields.

Name: RTK Scholars Program 

Deadline: May 31, 2022 

Details: RTK Environmental Group is committed to supporting and furthering the education of students in pursuit of careers in science. These individuals are the cornerstone for future developments in engineering, technology and life sciences, as well as new scientific advancements in the field of environmental inspection. The scholarship program helps these students succeed.

Name: The Better Together STEM Scholarship Program 

Deadline: Late Spring 2022 

Details: The PG&E Corporation Foundation offers a wide range of scholarships to help the next generation of Californians succeed and innovate in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) majors and other disciplines. Better Together STEM Scholarships are eligible for California residents pursuing STEM-related studies at universities in California and whose families are PG&E customers.

Name: ASNT Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship 

Deadline: December 15, 2022 

Details: The purpose of the ASNT Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship is to provide an incentive to undergraduate students enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering programs to choose nondestructive testing and evaluation as their field of specialization. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities in the United States with recognized engineering department programs at the time the application is submitted for this scholarship.

Name: The RevPart 2022 STEM Scholarship 

Deadline: December 31, 2021 

Details: Any student majoring in a STEM field who is attending an accredited college may apply. The 2022 scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student to be used toward their degree. RevPart will also be offering a book scholarship for the first and second runners-up.
